Learn the Laws of the Game (LOTG)

Every great referee starts here. The foundation of officiating begins with understanding the Laws of the Game. Before stepping onto the field, aspiring referees must complete a comprehensive course that covers the basics. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate and be invited to become playing referees.

Junior Soccer Match Official – Level 4

At Level 4, you’re ready to take charge. After completing theory modules, hands-on sessions, and receiving practical mentoring, referees gain the skills to not only interpret the laws but to manage the game with confidence. This qualification allows you to officiate local matches as a centre referee and is valid for four years.

Senior Soccer Match Official – Level 3

Ready for more competitive matches? Level 3 is for referees aged 16 and above who are looking to step into adult football or lower-tier state competitions. To earn this badge, referees must complete a refresher course, pass a fitness test, and demonstrate an advanced understanding of game management. This accreditation is also valid for four years.
