Two SDSFA Teams One Win Away from Champions of Champions Glory

The Southern Districts Soccer Football Association is proud to recognise two of its member clubs who will represent the Association on one of grassroots football’s biggest stages this weekend, with Western Condors FC U13 Boys and Moorebank Sports SC U14 Girls both qualifying for the 2026 Football NSW Champion of Champions Finals. After navigating challenging knockout campaigns against some of the strongest community football teams from across New South Wales, both sides now find themselves just one win away from Champions of Champions success at Valentine Sports Park this weekend.

Moorebank Sports SC U14 Girls Answer Every Challenge on the Road to the Final

The Moorebank Sports SC U14 Girls have taken a different route to the final, overcoming a series of fiercely contested knockout matches to earn their place among the state’s best.

Following a bye in the Round of 32, Moorebank demonstrated their determination in the Round of 16, overcoming Harrington United 2-1 after extra time in a match that tested both their resilience and determination to get over the line.

Another hard-fought challenge awaited in the Quarter Final against Apia Leichardt Tigers Juniors, with Moorebank once again finding a way to prevail in a 2-1 victory to continue their impressive run.

The standout performance of their campaign came in the Semi Final, where they produced a disciplined and mature display to defeat Rockdale City Suns FC 1-0 and book their place in the Champions of Champions Grand Final.

Having negotiated three difficult knockout fixtures, the Moorebank squad now prepares for a showdown with Kincumber FC as they look to cap off an outstanding campaign with silverware.
